Junior Product Owner / Software Business Analyst (w/m/d)

As a Junior Product Owner / Software Business Analyst you support the Digital Health Solutions department in the requirement analysis, testing and operation of Medgate’s core software solutions, to ensure a high-quality service that meets Medgate’s business needs. Medgate’s core technology comprises digital healthcare solutions, patient facing applications, patient management systems and software integrations with external services.




Your tasks


  • Assist the design and implementation of software solutions with gathering, analysis and documentation of business requirements from Medgate’s business stakeholders and project managers
  • Work with internal and external development teams, including project managers, UX/UI designers, developers and testers, to ensure correct implementation of software solutions according to the business requirements
  • Support the development of Medgate’s core software solutions with the definition and execution of user acceptance tests and regression tests and the production of technical documentation and user manuals
  • Track and report on the timeline of implementation of software solutions
  • Provide supports to Customer Service Center for the operation of these solutions and handling of operation issues
  • Report to product managers and IT management on the status of the design, implementation and testing of solutions


Your profile


  • University or technical college degree (BSc or equivalent) in Technology, Science or Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience working as part of a software development team
  • Experience in business analysis of web or mobile software solutions is a plus
  • Experience with lean-agile software development methodologies and good understanding of software development and quality assurance processes
  • Understanding and interest in the digital health domain. Concrete experience with technology-related projects in health care would be of advantage
  • Enthusiastic about the possibilities offered by digitalization, are an innovative thinker, and find satisfaction in finding good solutions to complex problems
  • Good communication, organisational and analytical skills. Reliable, trustworthy, eager to learn and personable
  • Able to maintain orientation, focus and poise in a highly dynamic environment
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
